We are thrilled you have decided to Live The Bull's Life at the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee! We want you to be as prepared as possible as you get ready to move into Atala Hall on August 22, so don't forget to review all the important move-in information below. We can't wait to welcome you home!

When should I arrive on August 22?

USF students should arrive between 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 22.

If residents are unable to arrive before noon on August 22, residents will be able to check into their room at the Atala Hall service desk located on the first floor. For Atala Hall service desk hours, click here.

Below are some key details and important information regarding Grand Opening on Friday, August 22. Please review the move-in guide below for more detailed information about move-in day!

Grand Opening is a busy day! Please be patient with your fellow Bulls and our staff as you move in.
We have a limited number of courtesy carts for residents to use. Please bring your own cart or hand truck if you have one, as we do not have a cart available for every resident moving in.
Order and activate your USFCard before moving in. Remember to order your USFCard and activate the card before arriving on campus, as this will be how you will access Atala Hall. Residents can also pick up their USFCard when checking in on Grand Opening.
Arrange travel plans ahead of time! Moving to college can be extremely stressful and cause a lot of emotion. Make sure you finalize your plans, arrange travel, and prepare for where to go on move-in day before arriving on campus. If you need somewhere to stay before August 22, please fill out the Early Arrival Form in your Housing Portal. Early arrivals will be accommodated beginning Monday, August 18.
Arrive early! Atala Hall will open at 9 a.m. on Friday, August 22. Bulls and their families should plan to arrive when the doors open so you have ample time to move into your new space.
