4 Steps to Living on Campus

Step 1: Complete the housing Application 

Complete the housing application in the Housing Portal. 

All Students residing in the Sarasota-Manatee Residence Hall will be required to purchase a meal plan. More information on meal plan options can be found here and on the USF Dining Website.

Step 2: Submit the Application Fee

Submit your $50 application fee.

This fee will be billed to your OASIS student account one business day after you complete the housing application. Please note, your admission deposit does not pay the $50 housing application fee. You will need to make a separate payment for the housing application fee. Learn how to make a housing payment in OASIS.

Step 3: Complete your Orientation Reservation 

New USF students will need to reserve and pay for an orientation session. Click here to register for an orientation session. 

Step 4: You are ready to be assigned!

Assignments for Fall 2024 will begin in the spring. Students will be contacted by a member of the USF Sarasota-Manatee Housing team with more information about their room assignment. Check your USF email regularly for updates.

Check Your Status 

You can see which steps have and have not been completed in the Housing Portal. 

  1. Log in to the Housing Portal
  2. Select My Applications
  3. Select Application Status
  4. Select the housing application for which you want to check your status
  5. Select the application period for which you want to check your status

Please Note 

You will not be eligible to be assigned to a room until the first three steps are completed. If you decide not to attend USF, it will be your responsibility to cancel your housing contract. Cancellation fees may apply.
