USF cybersecurity student Angelin Benny discovered she had thyroid cancer after a back injury led to unexpected scans. Despite months of uncertainty and treatment, she pushed forward, took on leadership roles and found strength in her support system. Now recovered, she’s preparing to graduate and begin her cybersecurity career.
