USF to Honor 9/11 Victims with Flag Display and Remembrance Ceremony

USF Sarasota-Manatee will commemorate the 24th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks with a remembrance ceremony on Sept.11, featuring a flag-raising, taps, and remarks from campus and community leaders. Ahead of the event, volunteers will plant 2,997 American flags in the campus courtyard to honor each life lost in the attacks.
