USF Sarasota-Manatee will host a Trivia Night fundraiser to benefit students participating in the 4th Annual Alternative Spring Break trip to New Mexico. The event will be held Friday, Feb. 8, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Selby Auditorium.
Teams consisting of from one to six individuals will compete over 10 rounds for a $100 top prize. Entry fee is $5 for USFSM students and $10 for USFSM faculty, staff and community members and includes food and one free raffle ticket.
USFSM’s Alternative Spring Break provides students with the opportunity to travel to border regions and learn more about immigration and its personal, economic and political impacts alongside Border Servant Corps.
The Trivia Night fundraiser is open to the public. Individuals who cannot attend the event but would like to contribute cash/check donations or raffle items may contact the USFSM Office of Student Engagement at 941-359-4711.
