Got Your Six
At the University of South Florida, we’ve “Got Your Six”! This is the military’s way
of saying, “We’ve got your back.”
Our most important mission is your success. We are fortunate to be the university
of choice for over 2,000 veterans and military-related students like you. You bring
important diversity and life experiences to our campus. Former USF President, Dr.
Judy Genshaft, is extremely proud of this program and what it can do for our Veterans.

To help you be successful, USF has kicked off the Got Your Six Veterans Success Network
program to help faculty and staff better understand your military experience and how
they can better support you as a student. Look for the Got Your Six sticker seen below
on office doors or windows identifying a willing resource for you.
Got Your Six is more than just a program; it originated as a national awareness program
that’s gaining recognition, especially through Celebrity Endorsement.
