About the Program

While the American Bar Association does not recommend a particular undergraduate program to prepare for a legal career, there are nationally recognized top choices including several offered at USF's College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS) including: English, History, Interdisciplinary Social Sciences and Criminology. Another aspect of a strong pre-law curriculum, preparing for success on the LSAT exam, is that courses provide a wide scope of knowledge. These majors offer a breadth of knowledge and are designed to enable pursuit of a minor in one of those programs or others like Environment Policy, Political Science, Sociology or Latin American, leading to an even broader pre-law foundation.
