USF launches new certificate program ‘Resilient Leadership in an Anxious World’

The University of South Florida is launching a new certificate program, “Resilient Leadership in an Anxious World,” developed in conjunction with the Institute for Public Policy and Leadership and the M3 Center for Hospitality Technology and Innovation. The program will equip leaders with the skills and knowledge to understand the complex organizational dynamics and to navigate challenging situations with calm, clarity and conviction.

“Resilient leadership is critical for success in today’s uncertain and rapidly changing world,” said Cihan Cobanoglu, dean of the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management and director of the M3 Center. “The skills and knowledge gained through this program will help individuals and organizations to thrive in the face of adversity. I am excited to see the impact this program will have on our community.”

Participants will be introduced to the basics of the Resilient Leadership model, a uniquely powerful resource for leaders at all levels looking to inspire and motivate their teams, even in the most challenging of circumstances. According to Cobanoglu, the program is an “excellent opportunity” for organizations looking to develop their leaders and for community members looking to gain valuable insights and skills that will benefit their person and professional lives.
