Future Sarasota-Manatee Campus

As part of the University of South Florida, a global, preeminent research university, the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus is expertly positioned to build and retain talent locally.

After 16 years of progress in a single campus building, our capacity for growth is constrained and lacking the resources necessary to support in-demand careers – limiting future contributions to the talent pipeline in the Sarasota-Manatee region.

The campus has reached a key developmental point for expansion and is committed to growing programs in partnership with our community that will impact the continued success and attractiveness of the region.

Nursing / STEM

The Nursing/STEM building will define the future of USF Sarasota-Manatee campus, its students, and this area with the next generation of nurses, scientists and problem solvers. This is the turning point that will bring all of us into the future.

Student Housing

When the new six-story, 100,000-square-foot student center and residential housing complex opens in the fall of 2024, as many as 200 students will be able to live on campus for the first time.

The new complex will enhance student success, including boosting student recruitment and retention efforts, and grow on-campus engagement.

Housing Scholarship

The housing scholarship deadline has been extended. Scholarship awards are limited and based on date of submission and until funds are exhausted.
