FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS
College of Arts & Sciences
Applicant must be a degree-seeking student, who is enrolled in at least 6 credit hours on the Sarasota-Manatee campus in the College of Arts & Sciences. A current FAFSA must be completed. This fund is in honor of Dr. Robert Barylski, first Dean and CEO of USF Sarasota-Manatee campus.
Applicant must be a degree-seeking student, who is enrolled in at least 6 credit hours on the Sarasota-Manatee campus in the College of Arts & Sciences with an overal 3.0 GPA and who has distinguished themselves through genuine and extraordinary literary writing achievement.
Applicant must be a degree-seeking student, who is pursuing a major in the STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), enrolled in at least 6 credit hours on the Sarasota-Manatee campus with an overall 3.0 GPA. Preference for female or minority student.
Applicant must be a degree-seeking student, who is enrolled in at least 12 credit hours in the College of Arts and Sciences on the Sarasota-Manatee campus with an overall 3.0 GPA. A current FAFSA must be completed.
Applicant must be a degree-seeking student, who is pursuing a major in the health science and wellness related degree programs, enrolled in at least 6 credit hours in the College of Arts and Sciences on the Sarasota-Manatee campus with an overall 3.0 GPA. A current FASFA must be completed.
Applicant must be a graduate degree-seeking student in a service-related program, including, but not limited to, gerontology, social work or education, who is enrolled in at least 6 credit hours on the Sarasota-Manatee campus with an overall 3.5 GPA. A current FAFSA must be completed.
College of Behaviorial and Community Sciences
Applicant must be a degree-seeking student, pursuing a major in Criminology, who is enrolled in at least 6 credit hours on the Sarasota-Manatee campus in the College of Behavioral & Community Sciences. A current FAFSA must be completed.
Applicant must be a graduate degree-seeking student in a service-related program, including, but not limited to, gerontology, social work or education, who is enrolled in at least 6 credit hours on the Sarasota-Manatee campus with an overall 3.5 GPA. A current FAFSA must be completed.
College of Education
Applicant must be a degree-seeking junior or senior level student, who is pursuing an Elementary Education major and enrolled in at least 6 credit hours in the College of Education on the Sarasota-Manatee campus with an overall 3.0 GPA. A current FAFSA must be completed. Preference for a female student.
Applicant must be a degree-seeking student pursing an Elementary Education who is enrolled in at least 6 credit hours in the College of Education on the Sarasota-Manatee campus.
Applicant must be a degree-seeking junior or senior level student, who is pursuing an Elementary Education major and enrolled in at least 6 credit hours on the Sarasota-Manatee campus with an overall 3.0 GPA. A current FAFSA must be completed. This fund was established in honor of Kathleen Thorson's 30 years of teaching in elementary education.
Applicant must be a degree-seeking student, who is a current resident of Manatee County and enrolled in at least 6 credit hours in the College of Education on the Sarasota-Manatee campus with an overall 2.5 GPA for currently enrolled and transfer students and 3.0 GPA for graduate students. A current FAFSA must be completed.
Applicant must be a degree-seeking student, who is enrolled in at least 12 credit hours in the College of Education or the Muma College of Business on the Sarasota-Manatee campus. A current FAFSA must be completed.

Applicant must be a degree-seeking student, First-Generation student freshman or sophomore enrolled in the College of Education pursing a major in Education at USF Sarasota-Manatee. A FAFSA must be completed. Preference for residents of Manatee County.
College of Nursing
This scholarship provides for tuition, books and equipment to undergraduate and graduate students studying Nursing Education at USF Sarasota-Manatee campus. Applicant must be a degree-seeking student, who is currently residing in Sarasota or Manatee County, pursuing a major in the health science and wellness related degree programs, enrolled in at least 6 credit hours in the College of Nursing on the Sarasota-Manatee campus with an overall 3.0 GPA. A current FASFA must be completed.
Applicant must be a degree-seeking student, who is enrolled in the upper division baccalaureate program major in Nursing, enrolled in at least 6 credit hours in the College of Nursing on the Sarasota-Manatee campus.
Applicant must be a degree-seeking student, who is enrolled in the Sarasota-Manatte campus Accelerated Nursing Program, intends to stay in the Sarasota-Manatee area, and enrolled in at least 6 credits. The student will be required to submit a 500-word essay to the committee addressing any financial hardships they are experiencing, as well as how this scholarship will impact their education, assist them with their goal of becoming a nurse, and help them positively influence the Sarasota-Manatee community.
General Scholarships
Applicant must be a degree-seeking student, who is currently a Manatee County resident and enrolled in at least 6 credit hours on the Sarasota-Manatee campus with an overall 3.0 GPA. A current FAFSA must be completed.
Applicant must be a degree-seeking gradate student, who is enrolled in at least 6 credit hours on the Sarasota-Manatee campus with an overall 3.0 GPA. A current FAFSA must be completed.
Applicant must be a degree-seeking student, who is a current resident of Sarasota or Manatee County and enrolled in at least 6 credit hours on the Sarasota-Manatee campus with an overall 3.0 GPA. Preference will be given to an ASID (American Society of Interior Design) member or family member. A current FAFSA must be completed.

Applicant must be a new freshman or new transfer degree seeking student, who graduated from the Dance, The Next Generation program at the Sarasota Ballet and is enrolled in at least 6 credit hours on the Sarasota-Manatee campus. A current FAFSA must be completed.
Applicant must be a degree-seeking student, who is enrolled in at least 6 credit hours on the Sarasota-Manatee campus. A FAFSA must be completed.
Applicant must be a degree-seeking student enrolled in the Judy Genshaft Honors College on the Sarasota-Manatee campus with an overall 3.0 GPA. Preference for transfer students in good staning with the Judy Genshaft Honors College.
Applicant must be a non-traditional student, who is enrolled in at least 6 credit hours on the Sarasota-Manatee campus with an overall 3.0 GPA. A current FAFSA must be completed.
Applicant must be a first generation degree-seeking student of a migrant farm family, who is enrolled in at least 6 credit hours on the Sarasota-Manatee campus.
Applicant must be a degree-seeking undergradate student, who is enrolled in at least 6 credit hours on the Sarasota-Manatee campus with an overall 3.0 GPA. A current FAFSA must be completed. Preference given to residents of Manatee or Sarasota County who are recovering from alcoholism or drug abuse.
Applicant must be a degree-seeking student, who is a current resident of Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte or DeSoto County and enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at USF with an overall 3.0 GPA. A current FAFSA must be completed. Applicant must provide evidence of personal growth potential through proof of: a) active participation in school and/or community activities and/or b) active employment to support self and/or family; c) leadership potential demonstrated by an essay responding to the concept of balancing service to others while in pursuit of personal goals. Preference given to Sarasota-Manatee campus students. This scholarship is renewable for Selby Achievers who continue to meet the above requirements for their Fall and Spring semesters until they graduate.
Applicant must be a first generation degree-seeking student, who is enrolled in at least 6 credit hours on the Sarasota-Manatee campus. A current FASFA must be completed. Preference given to student from a Title 1 school within Sarasota or Manatee County.

Baldwin Risk Partners School of Risk Management and Insurance
Applicant must be a degree-seeking student, who is enrolled in at least 6 credit hours in the Muma College of Business on the Sarasota-Manatee campus with an overall 3.0 GPA. This scholarship is for students enrolled in Property & Casualty Insurance Operations (CRN#) and/or Risk Management & Insurance (CRN#). A current FAFSA must be completed.
Applicant must be a degree-seeking student, who is enrolled in at least 6 credit hours pursing a major in the RMI Program in the Muma College of Business.
Applicant must be a degree-seeking undergraduate student, who is enrolled in at least 6 credits pursuing a major in Risk Mangement & Insurance, in the Muma College of Business maintaining a 3.0 GPA. Preference for minority students.

Applicant must be a degree-seeking student, who is majoring in accounting and enrolled in at least 6 credit hours in the Muma College of Business on the Sarasota-Manatee campus. A current FAFSA must be completed.
Applicant must be a degree-seeking student, who is enrolled in a least 6 credit hours in the accounting program in the Muma College of Business on the Sarasota-Manatee Campus.
Applicant must be a degree-seeking junior student enrolled in the Muma College of Business on the Sarasota-Manatee campus maintaining a 3.0 GPA. Preference for students who have internship experience or participate in the USFSM Campus MCOB Mentorship Program.
Applicant must be a degree-seeking student, who is enrolled in at least 12 credit hours in the College of Education or the Muma College of Business on the Sarasota-Manatee campus. A current FAFSA must be completed.
Applicant must be a degree-seeking student, enrolled in the Muma College of Business with an overall GPA of 3.0. A current FAFSA must be completed. Preference for Sarasota-Manatee campus students. Student must submit an essay outlining why they feel they would be a good candidate for the award and two letters of recommendation.
Applicant must be a degree-seeking student at the junior or senior academic level, who is enrolled in at least 6 credit hours in the Muma College of Business on the Sarasota-Manatee campus with an overall 3.0 GPA. A current FAFSA must be completed.
Applicant must be a degree-seeking senior level student, who is enrolled in at least 6 credit hours in the Muma College of Business Honors Program on the Sarasota-Manatee campus with an overall 3.5 GPA and have been accepted into the Honors section of the capstone course GEB 4890.
Applicant must be a degree-seeking student, who is a current resident of Sarasota or Manatee County and enrolled in at least 6 credit hours in the Muma College of Business on the Sarasota-Manatee campus with an overall 3.0 GPA. Student must be an active member or pledge in good standing with Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society and achieve academic ranking of "top 10% of the class" for undergraduates students or "top 20% of the class" for graduate students. A current FAFSA must be completed.
School of Hospitality & Tourism Management
Applicant must be a degree-seeking student, who is enrolled in at least 6 credit hours in the School of Hospitality & Tourism Management on the Sarasota-Manatee campus with an overall 3.0 GPA. A current FAFSA must be completed.
