Dr. Katerina Annaraud is an Associate Professor in the USF School of Hospitality and Tourism Management within the Muma College of Business. She arrived at USF in January 2005 from the University of South Carolina where she was a junior faculty member. 

Dr. Annaraud was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Russia and has earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting and auditing from St. Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance, which is ranked as the third-best business school in Russia. She also holds a PhD from Texas Tech University with a concentration in hospitality management.

Dr. Annaraud has worked for an international auditing company in St. Petersburg, Russia and for Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP in Detroit, Michigan. Her hospitality industry experience was gained through work in a Russian-Greek travel agency in St. Petersburg and Athens, and she has held several internships in hotels and restaurants in the U.S. and her native Russia. Her primary research interests include hospitality accounting, finance and cost control.
