The University of South Florida continues to monitor Hurricane Milton. The safety of our students, faculty and staff is our highest priority as we track the storm and the possible impacts to the Tampa Bay region.
On Monday, Oct. 7, no in-person classes will be held, and all campuses will be closed. All classes are canceled and all campuses will be closed on Tuesday, Oct. 8 and Wednesday, Oct. 9.
After almost 50 years in the region, University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee is a full residential campus, with the opening of the new Campus Student Center and Atala Residence Hall in August 2024. The student center on the first two floors of the 100,000-square building includes a dining hall, bookstore and ballroom. On the top four floors, 200 students are the first-ever to live and learn on USF Sarasota-Manatee's beautiful bayfront campus.
