Important Announcement: All USF Cashier’s Offices are now cashless. In-person payments will no longer be accepted in our offices.

Parking permits are required to park at the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee campus 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 

If you wish to purchase a parking permit, pay a citation or learn more about disabled and special event parking, you’re in the right place.

Picking Up Parking Permits

Call ahead – Parking permits may be mailed (preferred option). However, if you chose to pick the permit up, please contact the Sarasota-Manatee campus Parking Services Office at either (941) 359-4203 or (941) 359-4220 or e-mail sar-business-office@.usf.edu prior to arriving on campus to confirm availability of the permit you ordered online. 

Identification - Please have a driver’s license or some other form of ID available when picking up parking permits that were ordered online.

Payment Options for Parking Permits and Citations

Cash payments will not be accepted. Online payments are strongly encouraged. 

Credit Card Payments (strongly encouraged): May be made through the Sarasota Parking Services Auxiliary website: https://secure.touchnet.com/C20235_ustores/web/store_main.jsp?STOREID=20. Visa, MasterCard, and Discover Card payments are accepted.

Check/Money Order Payments – Sarasota-Manatee Campus Drop Box: Checks and money orders (including the student’s or employee’s name and U# and current address and phone number) in the exact amount only may be placed in the drop box located next to the main building’s Rotunda entrance for processing.

Mailed Check/Money Order Payments: Checks and money orders (including the student’s or employee’s name and U# and current address and phone number) in the exact amount only may be mailed to the Sarasota-Manatee campus Parking Services Auxiliary at the address below.

RECIPROCITY

USF Tampa permits, except Park ‘n Ride permits, and USF St. Petersburg permits are valid on the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus. 

USING VIRTUAL PARKING PERMITS FROM TAMPA CAMPUS

USF Tampa Parking & Transportation Services currently uses virtual permits.  Those permits are valid (except Park ‘n Ride) on the regional campuses at USF Sarasota-Manatee and USF St Petersburg.  However, the regionals do not have the specialized equipment to read the vehicle tags (license plates), then retrieve the virtual tag data from Tampa Parking’s database.  Security Officers at Sarasota-Manatee will need some way to know that they have a virtual permit from Tampa.  There is a printable permit that Tampa permit holders must print to put on their dashboard when parking at the Sarasota-Manatee campus.  The directions are:

1. Tampa permit holders should log onto their MyUSF account, click on the permit icon it will direct them into their parking portal account.
2. Once in their parking portal account there is a “View Your Permit” section. 
3. Click on the permit listed on your account. 
4. At the bottom of the permit selected, they have the option to print permit.
